Celebrate HIGHWAY 6 is planned for October 6th from 10-4PM at the Tillamook Forestry Center located approximately 20 miles up Highway 6 along the Wilson River. Beginning at 10AM until 1PM is a sketch/photo crawl or you may choose to hike and sketch or write and photograph and sketch and hike! Bring your own lunch for a lunch break at 1PM. The Forestry Center has reserved their new event space for us to use throughout the day. After the hiking, photographing, sketching and writing, we will have a time of Show and Tell to share our readings and art. Highways 6 and 131 have been named scenic byways and we are celebrating the history, the diverse landscape and the experiences that artists, writers, photographers and musicians have with the roadway from Banks to the Pacific Ocean. We,at Art Accelerated, hope you will want to be part of this celebration and help make some art as well as history!
